SL will participate in the "2024 Korea Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 (hereinafter DIFA 2024)", which will open on October 23, to present a corporate history view that can see the history of 70 years of growth at a glance.

SL, which has grown for more than half a century mainly in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, has continued the domestic auto parts industry, and plans to introduce its technological innovation and achievements to general consumers through participation in this exhibition.

An SL official said, "We would like to introduce the products of each business unit representing 'past-present-future' under the theme of the history view containing the company's growth story, reflect on the company's current performance through the story contained in it, and look at the future vision," adding, "This exhibition will be an opportunity to share SL's 70-year growth story and present a future vision."

At DIFA 2024, SL, a leader in automotive lighting, will showcase a near-field road projection concept that expands safety, design, and functionality simultaneously.

An SL official said, "The future autonomous vehicles will become more intelligent with intelligent and electric technology, making independent decisions and communicating with their surroundings in real time. For this, an intelligent lighting system that interacts between vehicles, pedestrians, and other vehicles is essential."

"SL displayed concept vehicles equipped with the technology at the booth, reproducing the actual operation of projecting clear and intuitive lighting on the road surface, so that visitors could experience the technology firsthand," he added.

The SL exhibition booth at DIFA 2024 will also reveal LiDAR products under development in collaboration with SOSLAB.

An SL official said, "Instead of installing a separate LiDAR sensor for self-driving, we will introduce a product integrated into the headlamp. Through this, we will introduce technology that improves the durability of sensors, extended detection range, and sensor cleaning functions, and present solutions for the era of self-driving."

In addition, SL's innovative technology and product lineup to lead the automotive parts industry in the electrification era of BMS (Battery Management System), SBCM (Side Body Control Module), and LiDAR Sensor can be seen.
